How long does a migration to Clever Cloud take?
It depends on the complexity of your infrastructure. Migrating cloud-native or Kubernetes applications can be done in a few weeks. For an IaaS or on-premise environment with a strong legacy, the process is progressive and supported. Our pre-sales team helps assess your needs, and if necessary, we connect you with integration partners for full support.
How do I migrate my databases?
We support PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis® and Elasticsearch, and provide automated migration tools. For more specific databases, our technical team provides direct assistance.
Are there any hidden or exit fees?
None. Clever Cloud applies transparent pricing with no additional costs. Better yet: since the EU Data Act came into effect, exit fees are regulated at the European level and already removed by major providers (Google, AWS, Microsoft). As a result, migrating your data from Google, AWS, or Microsoft to Clever Cloud is now free.
Will my applications run without modification?
Most applications migrate without changes. We natively support Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, Node.js, .NET, and many others. Our team validates compatibility upfront.
What if my infrastructure is on IaaS?
In this case, migration is more complex but fully achievable. Most of our clients with strong legacy environments choose a progressive, application-by-application approach with Clever Cloud’s support.
Can I avoid GAFAM lock-in by migrating to Clever Cloud?
