Our platform provides continuous hosting and active supervision of your industrial applications, whether supervision systems, analytics tools, production management, or IoT sensor integration. Our team maintains and monitors hosted environments to guarantee availability, apply security updates, perform regular data backups, and proactively manage incidents. This operational continuity (“run”) allows your teams to focus on core business activities while relying on a stable, compliant, and resilient infrastructure, adapted to the pace and requirements of the industrial sector.

Applications deployed on Clever Cloud benefit from high availability, integrated monitoring, and unified supervision. The system automatically adjusts resources according to load, without manual intervention. Each environment is isolated, auditable, and can be linked to granular governance through our IAM solution based on Keycloak.
For non-connected environments or those subject to strict restrictions, air-gapped deployments are available. In such cases, updates can be delivered securely via physical media or a dedicated channel, following a procedure validated by your security teams.

Clever Cloud is built on open technologies and rejects vendor lock-in. All critical functions are accessible via API, CLI (Clever Tools), CI/CD, or Infrastructure as Code (such as Terraform). You remain in full control of your applications, your data, and your workflows. The platform integrates seamlessly with your existing tools (Kubernetes, GitLab, Grafana, Metabase…) without requiring heavy rewrites or complex migrations.

What should you consider before hosting critical applications in the cloud?
Can Clever Cloud integrate with an existing industrial environment (ERP, supervision systems, IoT)?
Yes. The platform is compatible with common hybrid architectures used in industry. It provides a complete REST API, allows integration via CLI (Clever Tools) or Terraform (Terraform Provider), and supports the communication protocols typically used in IoT and supervision systems (such as MQTT, AMQP, or Pulsar). It can host workloads at the edge or in the cloud, depending on where critical data flows are processed.
Is it possible to use Clever Cloud in an environment without Internet connectivity?
Yes. Our air-gapped deployments operate without any external network dependency. They include a local control plane with supervision, updates, logs, and alerting available in standalone mode. Updates can be delivered via physical media or through a secured proxy link, as contractually validated with your teams.
Do you support Edge deployments in factories or warehouses?
Yes. Our Edge solutions allow cloud services to be replicated in a local environment while maintaining centralized orchestration. This enables low-latency execution, high tolerance to network outages, and integrated supervision across the entire system. Clever Cloud Edge can be used as long as Linux is installed on the target machines.
Are your services certified for hosting sensitive industrial data?
Yes. Clever Cloud is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and Health Data Hosting (HDS) certified, and of course fully GDPR-compliant. We operate our own infrastructures in France and Europe, with deployment options on SecNumCloud-certified zones through our partner Cloud Temple. All data flows are encrypted, logs are auditable, and each environment is strictly isolated.
Can access be tracked to guarantee full auditability?
Yes. Logging is enabled by default across all services. Access logs, deployment events, and system metrics are available through the console, APIs, or integrations with Grafana, Elastic, or Warp 10. These features help you meet both internal audit requirements and regulatory obligations.
How do you guarantee reversibility?
We enforce no technical lock-in. All services rely on open standards. You can export your databases, configurations, or applications at any time. If needed, we provide contractual support to assist with migration.
Can I monitor my applications with my existing tools?
Yes. Clever Cloud exposes all application and system metrics directly into Grafana. These data points can also be exported or integrated into other tools through the Clever Cloud API.
How does automatic resource adjustment work?
Our in-house orchestrator continuously monitors the CPU and RAM load of each application. When needed, the platform dynamically allocates additional resources without interruption. This scalability can also be configured manually if required.
Do you provide GitOps or IaC functions?
Yes. You can deploy via Git push, through our Terraform Provider, or by scripting your CI/CD pipeline. We also offer a Kubernetes Operator to manage Clever Cloud’s managed services directly from your own cluster.
Which databases do you recommend for real-time data?
We provide PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB, all well-suited for real-time processing and persistence of industrial or IoT data streams.
Do you have a serverless offer for embedded processing?
Yes. Clever Functions (FaaS) is currently available in private alpha. It allows you to execute functions triggered by events or HTTP calls, with WebAssembly-based execution for lightweight, fast local use cases. Access is available on request.
Is AI available for industrial use cases?
Clever AI is currently in internal testing. This solution will enable aggregation of multiple LLM models (open source or private) while ensuring controlled usage. You will be able to deploy your own AI agents for document analysis, support, semantic search, or classification, with prompt filtering, logging, and role-based access control. Public availability will be announced soon.
