Managed operations
By outsourcing operations, Clever Cloud takes care of continuous monitoring, resource auto-scaling, security updates, and proactive incident resolution. Teams no longer need to be on call for technical support or manage critical interventions, allowing them to focus fully on product development and improvement.
The service also includes automatic source code backup every 24 hours, daily backup of managed databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) with data retention for 7 days, as well as blue-green deployment mechanisms to update applications without service interruption and security patches on images.

Which tasks no longer need to be managed in-house with Clever Cloud?
By migrating to Clever Cloud, you outsource the management of scaling, security updates, service restarts, application monitoring, OS maintenance, TLS certificate monitoring, backup creation, and deployment runbooks. These tasks become native and automated within the platform.
How does the platform help prevent regressions or production errors?
Thanks to immutable infrastructure, every deployment starts from a clean environment. There is no persistent state and no hidden dependency between versions. This eliminates the classic “it works on my machine” issue, reduces the risk of configuration drift, and makes rollbacks easier in case of incident.
What is the impact of not being subject to the Cloud Act and FISA for a company?
It means your data cannot be seized or requested by jurisdictions outside the European Union, even if you are not handling sensitive data. For public sector entities, healthcare software vendors, local authorities, or any organization subject to GDPR, this is a strong guarantee of compliance.
What does the SecNumCloud qualification support consist of?
The French government selected Clever Cloud for its SecNumCloud support program, which involves active work on the requirements defined by the ANSSI. In parallel, a zone already qualified is immediately available for critical needs through our partner Cloud Temple. This provides a concrete response to “Cloud de Confiance” (trusted cloud) tenders.
Can Clever Cloud be used with an existing CI/CD pipeline?
Yes. Integrations via Clever Tools (CLI), the REST API, and Terraform allow you to orchestrate builds, tests, Git pushes, and deployments from GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or any other compatible CI/CD tool. You can also integrate secret management, database migration execution, or trigger post-deployment tests.
What types of industrial workloads can be deployed at the Edge?
Clever Cloud can host embedded industrial applications (telemetry, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, production control) on local infrastructures while ensuring centralized governance.
