What languages and technologies does Clever Cloud support?
Clever Cloud supports the main production programming languages and their frameworks (Java, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, Rust, Go) as well as custom Docker containers. How can I integrate Clever Cloud into my existing CI/CD pipeline?
Integration is possible via our Clever Tools CLI, our REST API, and native Terraform support. We provide configuration examples for GitLab CI and GitHub Actions. How does Clever Cloud ensure data sovereignty?
At Clever Cloud, all data is hosted exclusively on European infrastructures, operated by a company with 100% French capital and governed solely by French law. No data transfers to non-European jurisdictions are imposed. Our services are GDPR-compliant, ISO 27001 and HDS certified, ensuring a high level of confidentiality and security—even against extraterritorial laws such as the Cloud Act or FISA.
Is Clever Cloud compliant with specific sector regulations (HDS, finance, public sector)?
Yes. Our HDS certification meets the requirements for health data hosting. For public sector organizations, our presence in the UGAP catalog facilitates procurement. Financial sector environments can benefit from our contractual commitments and certified security measures.

Is it possible to manage on-premise or air-gapped environments with Clever Cloud?
Yes. We offer deployment of our platform within your own infrastructure, including environments fully isolated from the Internet (air-gapped). This flexibility lets you benefit from the same automation and observability tools as our public cloud, with complete control over your data.

Can databases be easily backed up or restored?
Yes. All our managed database services include automatic backups. In case of an incident or a specific need, you can restore an instance to a previous state. Backup management is accessible via the admin interface or through our API.
